Statewide Arts Awards Presented to Tolland HS Seniors
Local high school seniors have been awarded state arts recognition.
TOLLAND, CT — Two seniors from Tolland High School have been selected to receive Outstanding Arts Awards from the Connecticut Association of Schools (CAS). The award is presented annually to two seniors at each CAS member high school who excel in the performing or visual arts. Scholarship and leadership are also supporting criteria in the selection process.
Honorees are Kate Reinard and Fisher Thompson.
An awards ceremony scheduled in April was postponed due to the new coronavirus pandemic.
