Thursday Vote Slated On Tolland Budget With Unchanged Tax Rate

TOLLAND, CT — The Tolland Town Council will consider adopting a $57.1 million budget for the 2020-2021 fiscal year in a special virtual meeting Thursday evening.

The meeting is slated to begin at 7 p.m. A public participation segment with a two-minute limit is part of the agenda.

The 2020-21 town pperating and capital budget has a bottom line of $57,182,497. That number reflects a spending increase of $409,762 or 0.72 percent, which requires a tax rate of 36.05 mills. That tax rate will be unchanged if approved.
