Tolland Fills Top 10 Spot in High School Boys Soccer Poll

The Eagles opened the 2018 campaign with three wins and a tie in their first five outings.

TOLLAND, CT — Five straight wins to open the 2018 season enabled Lewis Mills High School to maintain the top position in the most recent weekly Class M/S boys soccer coaches poll.

The Spartans received first-place nods from seven of 14 voters to stay atop the Class M/S rankings. Stonington was second, garnering three first-place votes, and Ellington was third, collecting a trio of top votes.

Tolland High School placed eighth in the most recent balloting.

Fairfield Prep moved atop the LL/L poll.

Here are the top 10 in Classes M/S and LL/L, with first-place votes in parentheses and including last week's ranking, plus all other teams receiving votes.
