Tolland Fire Department Announces New Officer

TOLLAND, CT —Tolland Fire Department officials on Tuesday announced the promotion of Firefighter/EMT Jack Palozie to the rank of Fire Lieutenant.

Palozie has been with the department since June of 2016 and has served as a firefighter, EMT, the vice president of the TFD Board of Directors, as well as a post adviser for the TFD Explorer Program.

He is a University of Connecticut graduate and his day job is at Aetna as its head of data management.

Palozie has lived in town for 12 years.
