Tolland Firefighter Heads To U.S. Army Deployment

TOLLAND, CT — The Tolland Fire Department Tuesday evening paid tribute to Firefighter Nick Audette, who will be deploying with the United States Army 102nd Infantry Unit.

Audette joined us a several years ago as a member of our Explorer Post.
Fire Chief John Little said he "excelled as an Explorer there and graduated with the rank of Captain.

Audette then jumped into full service and became a certified firefighter in December of 2020.

"Nick has been an outstanding, dedicated member and we are extraordinarily proud of him," Little said. "Thank you for your service to this town and our country, Firefighter Audette. God Speed and come home soon."
