Tolland Food Pantry In Need Of Several Items

TOLLAND, CT — The Tolland Food pantry is still in need of several items for the holiday season.

Non-perishable items can be dropped off Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to noon at the Fire Department Training Center at 191 Merrow Road.

The pantry is currently in need of the following items:

• Hot and cold cereals
• Laundry detergent
• Fabric softener
• Dish soap
• Body soap
• Household cleaning products
• Paper Towels
• Napkins
• Tissues
• Toilet tissue
• Plastic wrap
• Aluminum foil
• Food storage bags (all sizes)

Those donating are being asked to check the expiration dates before dropping off food items.

Anyone in need of assistance from the Tolland Food Pantry, can contact the Tolland Human Services Department at 860-871-3648.

Tolland Animal Control has a well-stocked pet food pantry and anyone in need of pet food assistance, can call 860-871-3676.
