Tolland Hires New Planning and Development Chief
Tolland has a new director of planning and community development.

TOLLAND, CT — Tolland has a new municipal development chief.
As part of his most recent report to the town council, Tolland Town Manager Michael Rosen announced the hiring of David Corcoran as thew town's new director of planning and community development.
Corcoran was most recently a community and regional planner with Ada County, Idaho, and was based in Boise.

He has a bachelor's degree in geography and a master's degree in planning.
He has worked in the field since 201, most notably in land use, transportation and community planning in Idaho and Montana.

He is AICP certified.
Corcoran was the consensus choice of the final interview panel, Rosen said.
He will be starting in about a month, Rosen said.
