Tolland Obituary: Redith Stefaniak, 81

Redith Stefaniak, 81, of Alfred, ME, formerly from Tolland, passed away on July 17, 2018.

Born in West Virgina, she moved to Massachusetts to marry the love of her life, Michael J. Stefaniak, Jr. in 1955. She remained in New England for the rest of her life.

Redith leaves her husband of 63 years, Michael Stefaniak. She is survived by three children: Jean Fiske (Rick), Stuart Stefaniak, and Laura Bryant. Her oldest daughter, Regina Yount, predeceased her. She leaves six grandchildren: Thomas Yount, Kate Cobb, Beth Yount, Andrea Saucier, Heather Stokes and Patrick Jimmo, and nine great-grandchildren: Selene, Lily, Caroline, Abraham, Zachary, Brooklynn, Tyler, Ryan and Nicole. She also leaves her siblings Sally, Diana and Keith, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Redith was an avid gardener and had beautiful gardens surrounding her every place she lived. She was an amazing cook and no one went hungry while visiting her. She loved life. She adored her family. She will be sorely missed.
