Dec. 28
Matthew D. Urso, 28, of 22 Kate Lane, Tolland, was charged with failing to keep narcotics in its original container and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police responded to a minor accident on Interstate 84 west nearly exit 69 when a 2012 Audi Q5 clipped the blade of a state Department of Transportation snowplow working to clear the roads during the weekend's snowstorm. No one was injured or found at fault in the accident.
Police responded to a one-car accident on Gehring Road when a 2002 Jetta driven by Cole Lacroix, 18, of Tolland lost control of the vehicle and struck a pole owned by SNET. Police reported minor injuries to Lacroix and his passenger, Adam Solomon, 17, also of Tolland.

Dec. 30
Police responded to a two-car accident on Interstate 84 west near exit 68 when a 2012 Honda Civic driven by Albin Jocis, 86, of Stafford Springs, struck the back of a 2009 Ford Focus driven by Brianna Jamiak, 21, of Tolland. No injuries were reported, but the Civic was towed from the scene.
Police responded to an accident on Plains Road near Doe Road when a vehicle driven by Frank Huschle, 50, of Tolland lost control of his car and struck a utility pole after trying to avoid a car that has slowed down in front of him to allow a truck to back out of a driveway. Police cited Huschle for traveling too fast for conditions.
Dec. 31
Police responded to a two-car accident on Route 30 near Hunter Road when a 1998 Honda Civic driven by Christy Champ, 17, of Ellington, struck the back of a 2005 Nissan Altima driven by Justin Gilbert, 28, of Tolland. Police cited Champ for following too closely.
Jan. 2
Natalie M. Dix, 41, of Wales, Mass., was charged with second-degree failure to appear in court.
Wayne W. Beloff, 47, of 111 Mile Hill Road, was charged with disorderly conduct.
James F. Dowd, 20, of 25 N Maple St., Enfield, was charged with failing to submit to finger printing, threatening, interfering with police, disorderly conduct and witness tampering after threatening another prison while being held in the cell block at Troop C in Tolland.
