Tolland Public Library's Festival of Trees
The popular holiday event of the Festival of Trees is happening this year in the newly renovated Tolland Public Library.
FESTIVAL OF TREES
The Friends of the Tolland Public Library will open their Festival of Trees Fundraiser with a reception featuring the Tolland High School Madrigal Singers on Thursday, November 16th from 6 to 7:30 pm at the library located at Tolland Green. Tolland residents, local businesses, and social organizations have demonstrated their creativity and imagination by decorating tabletop trees on which visitors can bid during a silent auction. The Thursday night reception is the opening night for bidding on the trees, and includes entertainment and refreshments. Bids will be accepted during regular library hours until Saturday, December 2nd with final bids being accepted on Sunday, December 3rd from 2 p.m. to 3 pm. Successful bidders may take their trees home to enjoy. Winners not present will be notified by phone, and trees can be picked up during regular library hours. All proceeds will benefit the Friends of the Tolland Public Library. Bring your family and friends, get into the holiday spirit, and find that one-of-a-kind gift you are looking for.
