Tolland Recreation to Offer After School Program

As the new academic year fast approaches, the Tolland Recreation Department is planning to run an after school program for students in grades 5-8.

The program will take place Monday-Friday, from 2:30-6 p.m. at the Recreation Center. 

"We will have the use of multiple classrooms as well as the gymnasium and athletic fields outside," reads a town post. "Programs participants will have the opportunity to work on their homework, enjoy some quiet time, have a snack and then expend some energy participating in games and sports either in the gym or outside when the weather is good."

Registration begins Wednesday, Aug. 7.
