Tolland’s Veterans and Tolland Scouts Football Event

TOLLAND VETERANS – SCOUTS FOOTBALL EVENT

Two important segments of Tolland’s population will come together for an evening of fun and camaraderie on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 26th.

The TOLLAND VETERAN’S RECOGNITION COMMISSION, in cooperation with the Tolland High School Athletic Department will bring together Tolland’s Veterans and Tolland Scouts (and families) for the Tolland Eagles vs The Berlin Redcoats football game. All Veterans, Scouts and their families will be admitted FREE and will meet in the school cafeteria area for welcoming and lite refreshments at 5:00 P.M. --- coaches and players will be available, pre-game.

The initial response to this concept has been overwhelmingly positive --- Veterans, Scouts, town businesses and leaders, and civic organizations have embraced the idea of bringing together our young and our-not-so-young for an evening of support for the Tolland High Eagles. The short ½ time program will be devoted to honoring our Flag!
