Tolland Strip Club Fined, Suspended
A Tolland-based strip club was fined and suspended by state authorities.
TOLLAND, CT — A Tolland-based strip club was shut down for two days in September for a variety of transgressions, state Liquor Control Commission records show.
The Electric Blue Cafe Cafe at 62 Merrow Road was cited for violations that included:
- "Display" conduct
- Improper mingling
- Record-keeping
- Cafe permit violations
The shutdown was on Sept. 9 and 10, records show.

The business was also fined $1,625, records show.
The Liquor Control Commission has the power to impose fines on permittees and suspend or revoke liquor permits in connection with violations of Connecticut liquor control statutes or regulations.
