Tolland's Reed Named CHSCA Outstanding Coach For Soccer Season

TOLLAND, CT — Tolland High School varsity girls soccer coach Erin Reed has been selected by the Connecticut High School Coaches Association as the Outstanding Coach of the Year for Girls Soccer.

Tolland school system athletic director Todd Zenczak made the announcement Thursday.

Reed is scheduled to be recognized at the Aqua Turf in Southington on May 7.

Reed took the Eagles into the Class M state tournament as the 18 seed and they defeated No. 15 Northwestern Regional 3-0. Tolland then upset No. 2 Nonnewaug 2-0 on the road before falling to Notre Dame-Fairfield in the quarterfinals.
