Tornado Warning Cancelled For Tolland, Windham Counties
A tornado warning was issued for the area on Friday afternoon but has since expired as of 3 p.m.

UPDATE: The Tornado warning has since expired.
Here is an updated advisory:
At 301 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over East Longmeadow, or near Enfield, moving northeast at 35 mph. Pea size hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will accompany this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Springfield, Chicopee, Enfield, Amherst, Agawam, West Springfield, Ludlow, South Hadley, Longmeadow, Suffield, East Longmeadow, Ellington, Belchertown, Wilbraham, Palmer, Stafford, Somers, Ware, Monson and Granby.
UPDATE: At this point, we have no reports of any weather related incidents in our service area. We will update if necessary. The radar we are monitoring is showing the dangerous weather front clearing the state line into MA. This is a notification only.

The National Weather Service in Boston/Norton has issued a Tornado Warning for West central Windham County and Northeastern Tolland County in northern Connecticut.

* At 231 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Willington, or 7 miles north of Mansfield, moving northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
