Tree Crashes Onto Road In Tolland — 2 Weeks After Isaias

Two weeks after Tropical Storm Isaias wreaked havoc in Tolland with fallen trees and wires, another tree came down in Tolland.

TOLLAND, CT — Two weeks after Tropical Storm Isaias wreaked havoc in Tolland with fallen trees and wires, another tree came down in Tolland.

The incident was reported Wednesday at noon by Tolland fire officials along the 200 block of Anderson Road. The tree took some wire with it, fire officials said.

One lane was open while crews worked at the scene.

Tolland has set up a system to report residual damage on trails througout town. Residents can report Isaias-related fallen trees or damage to trail systems within Tolland's conservation areas caused by Storm Isaias on the Conservation Commission’s webpage under Report A Problem or by clicking here.

All requests will be addressed on a first come first serve basis during regular municipal business hours.
