Tree Lands On Wires In Tolland

TOLLAND, CT — A tree fell in a Tolland neighborhood and had to be carefully removed from some utility wires Tuesday afternoon, fire officials said.

The incident took place at about 3 p.m. near No. 51 Kozley Road, fire officials said.

First-arriving units located a small tree limb hanging on the utility wires, but no wires were knocked down, officials said.

Power was out in the area for a short time, officials said. A tree crew was called to the scene.
