Tree Trimming To Close Road In Tolland Friday

TOLLAND, CT — A tree-lined road in Tolland will be getting a haircut Friday and be off-limits to vehicles, town officials said.

The Asplundh Tree Company will be removing several trees on Plains Road. Town officials said it will be necessary to close Plains Road between Babcock Road and Route 32 to accommodate "very large equipment."

It is estimated that the road will be closed all day, officials said.
