Tree Work Prompting Weeklong Road Closure In Tolland

TOLLAND, CT — The Cook Road side of Johnson Road will be closed for about a week beginning Tuesday, town officials said.

Crews will be removing several large trees in the vicinity of the dam near 135 Johnson Road. Town officials said it will be necessary to close the road to traffic to accommodate very large equipment.

Work is expected to continue through Friday, town officials said.
