A truck lost its driveshaft on a stretch of I-84 in Tolland Wednesday.

TOLLAND, CT — A tractor-trailer spilled fuel on a section of Interstate-84 Wednesday night after losing its driveshaft, fire officials said.
The crash took place at about 6 p.m. on the eastbond side of the highway near Exit 68.
Fire officials said the loose driveshaft took out both "saddle tanks" containing diesel fuel. The fuel began spilling onto the highway, but first-responders were able to contain it, fire officials said.
