Truck Towing Camper Rolls Over On I-84 In Tolland: Update

TOLLAND, CT — State police said a a camper being pulled by a pickup truck was swerving before both rolled over on a section of Interstate-84 Tuesday.

The crash took place at 12:45 p.m.

The accident involved a 36 foot camper trailer which was traveling in the right lane on the westbound side of the highway, just prior to Exit 67, state police said.

The trailer began to fishtail and the driven then lost control of the vehicle. The camper then rolled over onto its left side.

Minor injuries were reported and the driver was issued a verbal warning for failure to maintain proper travel lane, state police said.

The highway was closed for about two hours on the westbound side.
