UCC of Tolland's Christmas Eve Services planned for Sunday

Are you interested in attending a service on Christmas Eve but not quite sure which type of service you would enjoy? The United Congregational Church of Tolland has multiple services for all ages to be able to experience the joy this season.

10:00 a.m. This is a pageant service that will feature our Joyful Voices Youth Choir and the Children’s Choir. This service includes singing carols and a lovely pageant called “The Promise.” This play tells the story that began on a cold night in Bethlehem through the 12 days of Christmas. All children are invited and encouraged to participate, and should arrive at 9:45 a.m. to select a costume.

8:00 p.m. Those attending the Family Candlelight Service will enjoy the delightful voices of The Chancel Choir, accompanied by piano and organ. This service begins with the lighting of The Christ Candle in the center of the Advent Wreath. The highlight will be the congregation exiting with lighted candles to sing Silent Night, a cappella, in the quiet darkness of Tolland Green, thus taking the Light of Christmas out into the world before heading home.
