WAIM to Hold Flea Market on Saturday, June 20
Antiques, furniture, toys and many other items will be available. Social distancing protocols to be observed.

The Windham Area Interfaith Ministry (WAIM) will hold a flea market from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday (June 20) at its building at 866 Main St. in Willimantic.
Antiques, gently used items, toys and many other items will be available for sale, with all proceeds helping to offset WAIM’s operating costs.
Executive Director Victoria Nimirowski noted that safety protocols in accordance with the state’s COVID-19 guidelines will be in place. Shoppers will be asked to wear masks and practice social distancing. Six customers will be allowed in the building at one time.

“Come out, find some bargains and safely help support WAIM’s work in the community,” she said.

The Windham Area Interfaith Ministry (WAIM) is an association of churches, synagogues, fellowships and concerned citizens that help those in need in the greater Windham region.
It serves more than 8,000 clients each year by supplying furniture, clothing, and emergency living expenses.
WAIM serves all area residents who qualify for assistance, including those who are unemployed, underemployed, undocumented, refugees, recently released prison inmates, those living in transitional or rehabilitative housing and those living with illness or disabilities.
