Winter Team State Championship History: Tolland High School
The Eagles have accounted for seven team championships in winter sports over the years.
TOLLAND, CT — As practices for high school winter sports officially get underway across Connecticut Monday (girls basketball, ice hockey and wrestling) and Thursday (boys basketball, indoor track, boys swimming and girls gymnastics), hopes run high for all teams to achieve the ultimate goal: winning a league championship, and possibly a state title.
To help squads get into the championship mentality, here is a listing of the seven CIAC team championships won by Tolland High School in past winters (* - indicates a co-op team).
- girls indoor track (5) - Class M: 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014; State Open: 2015
- ice hockey (1) - Div. III: 2015*
- boys indoor track (1) - Class S: 1997
