- Yesterday’s spring-like weather was just a tease as we’re back down to freezing today. There will be a high of 31 degrees with blustery winds. Tonight, the temperature will plummet to 22 degrees, but the forecast for Wednesday looks much better.
- The finishing touches to one of the greatest American novels of all time were placed on Old Road in Westport. J.D. Salinger presumably rented a place here as he worked on The Catcher in the Rye. The author of biography on Salinger’s life came to town this past weekend and .
- Five storytellers will weave yarns about the things they did for love. The begins at 7 p.m. at the Westport Arts Center. Light fare is included in the $15-20 tickets and there is a cash bar.
- Earthplace is offering a program for children in preschool This event allows kids to learn all about birds, including a search for birds. The price is $18 for non-members and $8 for members. Advanced registration is encouraged.
