Book Launch Party, Summertime Happy Hour, and More Events This Week

Kings Highway Elementary School Play Date: Tuesday marks the first of three play dates for incoming kindergarteners and their parents at Kings Highway Elementary School. Come play at 3 p.m.

"Death Never Sleeps" Launch Party: Celebrate the launch of E.J. Simon's book "Death Never Sleeps" with a big Italian Dinner at Mario's in Westport Tuesday.

Cleansing Workshop with Kaia Cafe Staff: The benefits to cleansing are numerous, and Kaia Cafe's cleanse experts will go over the whats and whys at this informative discussion. There will also be an array of juice samples for you to taste. The workshop is Tuesday night at the Westport Family Counseling Center.

Bob Button Big Band: This week's series of concerts at Levitt Pavilion kicks off at 7 p.m. Tuesday with the Bob Button Big Band. The band plays music from the "Big Band Era."

Conversations with Women: Join a group of like-minded women for an evening of cocktails & conversation! The group -- which meets at the Westport Woman's Club on Imperial Avenue -- will discuss the book "The M Word" by Lori Sackler.  

Barry G & Ramblin' Davey (Free Kids Concert): The Melissa & Doug Children's Series continues with this duo, known kid-beloved jams and clever wit. See them at Levitt Pavilion Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Summertime Happy Hour for Young Jewish Professionals: Head to Splash's outdoor patio Thursday for a nighttime happy hour as we say farewell to summer.

Emily Mure & Friends/Miko & the Musket: A double bill of indie folk-rock, R&B and pop – sure to please everyone! See the bands Thursday at 7 p.m. at Levitt Pavilion.
