Westport's Bridge Street Bridge will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic on Monday between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
New machinery components on the bridge -- officially called the William F. Cribari Memorial Bridge -- will be inspected and tested during the closure.
Signs and markings for detours will be posted, according to First Selectman Gordon Joseloff.
