Construction Equipment Rolls Off Flatbed Truck In Westport
No injuries were reported in the Monday morning accident.
WESTPORT, CT — A heavy piece of construction equipment on a flatbed trailer rolled over onto a Westport roadway Monday morning when the flatbed tipped over after driving over a small incline, according to authorities.
No injuries were reported in the accident, which occurred in the 200 block of Greens Farms Road.
Just the flatbed and the piece of equipment rolled over, not the truck pulling it, according to Westport fire Assistant Chief Brett Kirby.

Fire personnel stabilized and stopped fluids from leaking from the equipment.
The incident required the temporary shutdown of Greens Farms Road while a heavy-duty wrecker righted the vehicles and cleared the roadway.
