DUI Charge for Westport Woman Late Sunday Morning
Police received a call about the woman's driving at 10:45 a.m., Sunday, according to a report.

A 53-year-old Westport woman’s driving was reported to police by more than one caller at 10:45 a.m. on Sunday, and police said they found her driving intoxicated, according to a Westport News report.
Callers told police what street she was on and which direction she was headed. When a police officer saw the vehicle in the area of Canal Street, the driver committed several traffic infractions before the vehicle was stopped, according to the report.
The officer smelled alcohol on the driver, Danielle Yingling of Willowbrook Drive. She did not pass a field sobriety test and was charged with driving while under the influence, travelling unreasonably fast and failure to stay on the right side of the road, the newspaper reported.
