Elderly Westport Woman Charged After Neighbor Dispute

Bettina Gangi, 76, of Westport, was charged with breach of peace and first-degree criminal trespassing on Nov. 16.

According to police, officers responded to a dispute on Blackberry Lane in Westport between Gangi and one of her neighbors. During the disagreement, Gangi did not leave the neighbor’s property when asked and prevented the neighbor from entering her own home, according to police.

Gangi was released on a written promise to appear and is scheduled to appear at Norwalk Superior Court on Nov. 26.
