Farewell Westport!

Well Westport, it's been fun.

Though my time covering this wonderful, engaged town was short, my experience has been nothing short of memorable.

I first got to know a bit about the people who make up the Westport community when I was invited to a Sunrise Rotary meeting a few months ago. A high school graduation, the start of a major election season, and a Little League World Series run later, I can say this was quite a summer.

Westport Patch readers, users, and contributors are in good hands with Dan DeBlasio, a member of the Patch editorial team and the new Westport Patch editor. Dan hails from Southbury and is an experienced Patch editor and local news and sports reporter. I'll be following his great work as a fan of Westport Patch.
