Mark Lutz's Firehouse Hot Dogs, a hot dog stand on wheels, has returned to Westport after a two year hiatus.
Lutz, a Monroe resident who is also a Monroe Firefighter, tore his rotator cuff while working for Monroe EMS. He was unable to sell dogs for two years.
Lutz was posted on the east bank of the Saugatuck River nearby Klaff's and the Westport Library early Wednesday afternoon, but he moved to Kowalsky Field at about 3 p.m. to catch the crowds at the baseball games.
Wednesday was Lutz's first day in business this season and he said business was good. Lutz said he even sold a hot dog to a kayaker on the Saugatuck River.
