Letter: Helen Garten, Intelligent Problem Solver

Dear Editor: 

I have been a Westport resident for 22 years.

Earlier this year I had an opportunity to meet and work with Helen Garten. She being Vice Chair of the Board of Finance, I as an officer of a non-for-profit organization located in Westport.

I was impressed with Helen’s willingness to listen and understand issues, her intelligent approach to problem solving and her sound and balanced decision-making process. 

I believe she is a great candidate for First Selectman of our Westport.
