Miller Motor Cars Plans to Sell Maserati’s Newest Model in Westport

1026 Post Road East in Westport could soon be the home to a Maserati dealership. 
Maserati will debut a new sedan next week that will be comparable to a BMW 5-Series or Mercedes-Benz E Class, a car that Miller Motor Cars hopes to sell in Westport alongside other Maserati models. 
Although the plans have not been finalized, Miller Motor Cars is currently under review by the Westport Planning and Zoning Commission, according to Miller Motor Cars Director of Marketing Evan Cygler. 
“We are eager and excited to hopefully be doing business in Westport,” Cygler said.
 The dealership, which would exclusively sell Maserati, would be the first car dealership to open in Westport in more than a decade. 
Maserati will debut the Ghibli, its newest model, at the Shanghai Auto Show on April 20. Maserati claims its new entry-level model will be fundamental in helping company sales swell to 50,000 cars annually by 2015. The Ghibli could be in dealer showrooms as early as October, according to a news release from Maserati. 
The Ghibli’s price will start close to $90,000. The Italian sedan will be available in diesel and gasoline powered engines. All-wheel drive will be optional, according to Maserati. 
In Greenwich, Miller Motor Cars sells, Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Bentley, Bugatti,  Ferrari, Fisker, Maserati, McLaren and Rolls Royce.
