Registrar Holding Special Sessions for Voter Registration
Time is running out to register to vote in the November election.

The Westport Registrar of Voters office will be open extended hours over the next several weeks to allow residents to register to vote before the November election.Â
The office will be open Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. for voter registration. It will also be open on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Tuesday, Oct. 29 until 8 p.m. for special enrollment sessions, according to Registrars of Voters Kevin White and Marla Cowden.
The deadline for in-person registration for the Nov. 5 Special State and Municipal Election is 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29. Registration applications hand-delivered by persons other than the applicant must be received by Tuesday, Oct. 22. Mailed-in registration applications must be postmarked no later than Oct. 22, and received by Monday, Nov. 5, according to the Registrars.Â
