Water Main Break Temporarily Closes Road In Westport

WESTPORT, CT — A water main break in Westport early Wednesday morning has resulted in "alternating one-lane traffic in the area of Charles Street and Franklin Street," according to Westport police.

"Repairs are underway, but will take some time," officials wrote in a statement. "Be advised this will affect morning commuter traffic in this area."

Motorists are asked to be patient, seek alternate routes if possible and "leave extra time to get to the train station, work and/or school."
