Westport Halloween Parade Scheduled

Grab your favorite costume and a goody bag! The annual Westport Children’s Halloween Parade will be held on Tues, Oct. 29.

All children seven-years-old and younger are invited to meet at 3 p.m. in front of the Westport/Weston Family YMCA on the corner of Post Road and Main Street.

The parade will go up Main Street, along Avery Place and up to Town Hall. Entertainment, refreshments and a small gift will be provided on Veterans Green at 3:45 p.m., according to the town.

There will be no parking on Main Street between 2 – 4 p.m. while the parade is taking place. In the event of rain, all festivities will be moved into the Westport Town Hall beginning at 3 p.m., according to the town.
