Michael Wall, 46, of Westport, was charged with second-degree strangulation and third-degree assault on Nov. 24 at approximately 9:58 p.m.
According to police, officers responded to a residence after receiving calls from a neighbor stating he heard a female screaming for help. When police responded they determined a physical confrontation had taken place between Wall and a female.
Wall was released on bond and was scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Nov. 25.Â
