Westport police charged Antonio Martinez, 24, of Bridgeport, with second-degree failure to appear following a motor vehicle stop Sunday evening, police said. Â
A Westport police officer pulled over a suspicious vehicle that Martinez was a passenger in. Martinez had an active failure to appear warrant from the Westport Police Department, according to an arrest report.Â
The original arrest was for motor vehicle charges, police saidÂ
Martinez was taken into custody and released after posting a $500 bond. He is due in court May 22.
