The meetings will center on safety, and are organized by the RTM, Selectmen's Office, Public Works and Police departments.

WESTPORT, CT — Residents will have an opportunity to discuss traffic, pedestrian and bicycle safety with Westport officials during a series of meetings that begin on March 3.

"As was announced at the Representative Town Meeting (RTM) on February 4, the Selectman’s Office, in coordination with the Public Works and Police Departments, has scheduled a series of meetings with RTM districts to discuss some of the issues facing the Town in dealing with traffic, pedestrian and bicycle safety, and the steps the Town is taking with respect to those issues," officials said in a statement.

The meetings are designed to provide an opportunity for residents of the town's nine RTM districts "to talk about problems they are facing in their particular area and ask questions about possible solutions." The meetings are free and open to the public.
