Westport's Sandy-Damaged Homes Up for Inspection

Attention, Westport residents: if your home was damaged by Superstorm Sandy, be prepared for a visit from inspectors within the next few months.

“The inspections will be occurring on weekends over the next few months and typically include an interior inspection,” Westport Assessor Paul Friia said. Inspectors will be checking on progress of repairs.

Inspectors will have town-issued identification cards that can be verified by Westport police.
