Lynn Scalfani, 50, of 53 West Parish Road, Westport, was charged with sixth-degree larceny and issuing a bad check after she turned herself in to Westport Police Headquarters Monday on an arrest warrant, police said.
Scalfani allegedly purchased an iPhone 5 from Verizon Wireless with a bad check, police said.
She was released on a promise to appear in court May 8.
