Brandon Walmart Hosts Socially Distant Halloween Event For Kids

The major corporation is hosting contactless trick-or-treat events at more than 100 of its stores, including those in the Tampa Bay area.

BRANDON, FL — Many traditional Halloween activities are not being considered by parents this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, which means finding alternative ways to trick-or-treat.

Walmart in Brandon, 1208 E Brandon Blvd, is providing a socially distant trick-or-treat event this Halloween season.

For customers seeking less traditional Halloween haunts this year, Walmart is transforming more than 100 of its store parking lots into trick-or-treat adventures that are contact-free and socially distanced, the corporation said.

It's a free event for kids and it's from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on October 18.
