Fire Destroys Seffner Home, Leaving 6 Adults, Dog Homeless

The battalion chief ordered firefighters to protect the neighboring homes while crews launched an interior attack on the fire.

SEFFNER, FL ? Six adults and a dog were left homeless following a fire Friday at a home at 1103 Sagamore Drive in Seffner.

Hillsborough County Fire Rescue responded after receiving dozens of 911 calls reporting fire and heavy smoke around 6 p.m.

The battalion chief ordered firefighters to protect the neighboring homes while crews launched an interior attack on the fire using water from a nearby fire hydrant.
