Chicken Salad Chick To Open Dec. 10 In Bloomingdale Square

BRANDON, FL — Fast-casual restaurant concept Chicken Salad Chick announced that it will open its newest restaurant in Bloomingdale Square on Dec. 10.

Franchise owners Tammy and Brad Cochran of Tampa Bay CSC will celebrate Chicken Salad Chick's with a week of specials and giveaways a chance to win free chicken salad for a year at the grand opening.

Tuesday, Dec. 10 – The first guest will receive one large Quick Chick of chicken salad per week for an entire year. The next 99 guests will receive a free large Quick Chick of chicken salad per month. Any guest not part of the first 100 in line can make a purchase and enter to win free chicken salad for a year.

Wednesday, Dec. 11 ­– The first 100 guests to purchase a Chick Special will receive a free scoop of Classic Carol.

Thursday, Dec. 12 ­– The first 100 guests to purchase a Chick Special will receive a free Chick Trio.

Friday, Dec. 13 – The first 50 guests to purchase two large Quick Chicks will receive a free large Chick cooler. Any guest can enjoy buy two Quick Chicks, get one free all day long.

Saturday, Dec. 14 – The first 50 guests to purchase a Chick Special or Chick Trio will win either a free Chick tumbler, Chick beach towel or Chick sling bag.

All Week – One lucky winner will be chosen each day to win either a small Chick Cooler, selfie stick, cookies, $5 off reward, free scoop or sandwich card, free frisbee or free large drink. Participants must take a picture while dining at the location and post it to Facebook using #BRANDONCHICKGO to enter to win.

Located in the newly constructed out parcel in the plaza at 965 E. Bloomingdale Ave., this is the company's seventh restaurant in Tampa Bay and its 23rd in Florida.

The Cochrans were first introduced to Chicken Salad Chick in 2007 when founder Stacy Brown brought samples of her classic chicken salad to a baby shower for Tammy’s sister-in-law, Julie.

Nearly 12 years since their first Chicken Salad Chick experience, the husband-and-wife duo are the owners of four restaurants in the Tampa area. The Cochrans are thrilled to be opening a new location in Brandon, along with their existing locations on East Fowler Avenue, Lutz and South Tampa.

Brown established the Chicken Salad Chick concept Auburn, Alabama in 2008. The company now has 135 restaurants in 16 states.

Chick Salad Chick offers 12 versions of chicken salad like Lauryn's Lemon Basil with chopped pecans, fresh basil and lemon; Sassy Scotty with ranch dressing, bacon and shredded cheddar; Olivia's Old South with sweet pickles and eggs; Kickin' Kay Lynne with buffalo sauce, ranch, bacon, shredded cheddar, jalapeños and Sriracha.

Chicken Salad Chick is also known for its pimento cheese, spicy pimento cheese and egg salad as well as gourmet soups including loaded potato and tomato bisque, chicken Florentine, broccoli cheese and chicken tortilla.

Signature sandwiches include the Chicken Salad and Pimento BLT, Turkey Club and Turkey Pesto, which can be combined with a choice of sides like broccoli salad, grape salad, pasta salad, fresh fruit and mac n' cheese.

Hours for the Brandon Chicken Salad Chick are Monday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
