Devoted Drone Park Opens In Seffner: Report

Hillsborough County officials have created a park in Tampa Bay for drone flyers. It's becoming a popular location for area hobbyists.

SEFFNER, FL ? The first dedicated drone park in Tampa Bay is becoming a popular place for hobbyists to meet up and fly their drones, according to WFTS.

Members of the Cigar City Multirotors club told the outlet they are happy to finally have a place to fly and race where they won?t be chased away. This is the third drone park in Florida located at Mango Park, 11717 Clay Pit Road, Seffner.

?We?ve been flying around in different spots sometimes getting the stink eye and stuff because of being there when we shouldn?t be there. Or people feeling we shouldn?t be there,? Eric Dederichs said to the outlet.
