Following 'The Voice' Success, Country Duo Pryor & Lee Hit Road

Pryor & Lee have embarked on their first cross-country tour, including a stop at the Dallas Bull in Tampa Friday.

NASHVILLE, TN — Black River Entertainment's President and CEO Gordon Kerr announced the signing of country duo Pryor & Lee and their first cross-country tour, including a stop in Tampa Friday, March 13 at 10 p.m. at the Dallas Bull, 3322 U.S. 301, Tampa.

Comprised of Pryor Baird and Ormond Beach resident Kaleb Lee, the pair hit the road with their "Country's Back" tour following a debut performance at the Daytona 500 a few weeks ago.

Kerr said Black River Entertainment had been looking for its first country duo and was impressed by Baird and Lee's individual performances on NBC's vocal competition, "The Voice," where both finished in the top six.

Baird and Lee met and roomed together at the national competition. They said they quickly realized they had a connection when they had an opportunity to collaborate on the show.

Following the show, Baird and Lee continued to pursue solo careers. Baird toured across the country, promoting his 2019 solo EP titled "All Over Me." Meanwhile, Lee released his song. "I Dream in Southern," written by powerhouse team Shane McAnally, Josh Osborne and Brandy Clark, and featuring superstar Kelly Clarkson. Lee returned to the stage of "The Voice" in 2019 to perform the song with Clarkson.

Both musicians said they're excited to team up and tour the country together.

"This is literally a dream come true," said Baird. "I got a guitar when I was 2 1/2, and I've dreamt of this day my whole life."

"I couldn't be more pumped for this new project and the team behind it," said Lee. "I immediately knew it was something special when Pryor and I recorded music together in late 2019, but having Black River get excited just solidified my feelings."

The pair has already garnered national attention. Rare Country described Baird's singing voice as "growly and bluesy pipes and a stellar vocal range" while Billboard called Lee's singing "soulful and whiskey-soaked vocals," and said the duo's music has “a fresh sound with a throwback vibe highlighting their modern take on country music's iconic guitar twang and relatable lyrics.”

Tickets are available for Pryor & Lee's performance at the Dallas Bull. They start at $15 for the show and the Sink or Swim special including unlimited wells and drafts.

Tickets for the show and a VIP meet-and-greet are $25.

Doors open at 7 p.m.
