Free Mask Giveaway At Libraries For Hillsborough Residents

Brandon and Riverview residents plus small-business owners can receive free masks at local libraries during its mask giveaway.

BRANDON, FL — If you're running low on masks or money is short to purchase one, Hillsborough County libraries are giving out free, reusable masks on Thursday, a news release said.

Small-business owners can also request a one-time quantity of 100 face coverings, while supplies last. Starting at 10 a.m. on Thursday, residents can pick up two reusable face coverings, and can request face coverings for immediate family members not present.

Masks will be given out until 6 p.m., or until supplies last, whichever is first.

Face coverings will be distributed from the lobby at the following Brandon area locations:

  • Bloomingdale Regional Public Library, 1906 Bloomingdale Ave., Valrico
  • SouthShore Regional Library, 15816 Beth Shields Way, Ruskin

The following locations will offer curbside pickup for masks:

Small-Business Owner Request

Small-business owners in Hillsborough County may submit a request for a one-time quantity of 100 reusable cloth face coverings. The face coverings are free of charge and will be available as supplies last. To make a request, email ESF07@hcflgov.net. Instructions on how to pick up the face coverings will be provided in a confirmation email. Note: You will be asked to bring proof of your Federal Tax Identification Number (Employer Identification Number) at the time of pickup.
