Hang in There, Taco Bus Brandon Shaping Up On Falkenburg Road

The sign still says a "Spring 2013" opening is anticipated for the Taco Bus in Brandon, on Falkenburg Road, just north of the State Road 60 intersection, near Hillsborough County Animal Services, but anxious eaters are still waiting.

With the Taco Bus in place at the eatery, which has taken great strides forward in construction since the announcement of the May 28 opening delay, word comes that the opening is about a month away.

According to a June 28 Tampa Tribune report online, "if all goes according to plan, and county officials approve pending paperwork, the new location should open in about one month."

The paper reports the site will be open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 24 hours a day Thursday through Saturday.
