4 Sisters Found Safe, Sheriff's Office Says
Four sisters, ages 4 to 13, returned to A Kids Place in Brandon.
Update April 29, 8:09 p.m.: The four missing children from A Kids Place in Brandon were found safe, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office says. The girls were spotted around 7:07 p.m. Friday trying to climb over a fence near the rear of the foster home's property.
"Preliminary information is that they originally ran away to a nearby park and then broke into an abandoned residence in the area by breaking a window," an email from the sheriff's office said. "They stayed at the abandoned residence all day today and were attempting to return when they were discovered."
The children were being interviewed and medically cleared Friday evening.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in locating four children ranging in age from 4 to 13 years old, who went missing from the Brandon area in the early hours of Friday morning.

In a statement, sheriff's deputies said the children were staying in a foster home called A Kid's Place, located at 1715 Lithia Pinecrest Road in Brandon, and are believed to have run away. They are being considered "endangered runaways."
The missing children are:
- Alison Nelson, age 4, a white female with brown eyes and brown hair, approximately 3'8" and 39 pounds;
- Annabella Gonzalez, age 10, a white female with brown eyes and brown hair, approximately 4'6" tall and 66 pounds;
- Heavenlynn Gonzalez, age 11, a white female with brown eyes and brown hair, approximately 4'7" and 86 pounds;
- Ashlyn Smith, age 13, a white female with blonde hair and blue eyes, approximately 5'6" and 120 pounds;

The sheriff's statement said the children were last seen at 10 p.m. Thursday night, and were discovered missing at a headcount just after midnight.
"It is believed that the kids climbed out of a window and either climbed the fence or were able to squeeze through an opening at the gate," the statement indicated.
It is not known what clothing the children were wearing when they went missing.
The sheriff's office reported that all four children have no known medical issues or disabilities, and do not take any medication. The four girls are all related as sisters.
